Dates: Fridays in November, beginning November 5, 7:30 – 8:30 p.m. (ET)
St. Catherine Labouré answered her vocation by entering the community of the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul in Rue de Bac, Paris. Following Our Lady’s instruction, St. Catherine conveyed Mary’s request to create the Miraculous Medal now worn by millions of people around the world. Not much is known about this Silent Saint and her impact on the world. Join us for a special four-part series entering the life of a saint who secretly changed the world.

Join us on November 6 as we journey to discover the "blockages" that prevent us from developing our own intimacy with God. We will explore how our spiritual ancestors struggled with their own disordered attachments and unruly desires. Then, using prayer, small group reflection, and Lectio Divina, we will reflect upon our personal spiritual journeys and identify things in our lives that might distance us from God’s abundant grace.

It wasn’t until the early 20th century that the Church officially approved confraternities and associations that spread devotion to Mary and her Miraculous Medal. When that happened, the Vincentians were able to publicly promote prayers to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. But, given it was such a new feast in the Church, there were no prayers or novenas created yet, so our Vincentian Fathers—Frs. Joseph Skelly, Kieran Moran, and Michael Drennan—developed them using prayers from the Raccolta and St. Alphonsus Liguori’s prayers.

"I was hospitalized with a ruptured appendix and all my intestines were completely infected. My condition was terminal, and they couldn't operate because of so much infection. They couldn't even draw out any of the infection. I had my Miraculous Medal the whole time, and I'm better now. This Medal has been my miracle. Thank You, my Mother." ~ Janice

Transform someone’s life this Christmas with the gift of daily Masses and prayers for an entire year. Your loved ones will receive 365 days of the most powerful prayer on earth beginning on Christmas: the Holy Mass combined with the prayers of the Vincentians and Members of Mary’s Miraculous Medal Family.
