CCAP Forum: Building a Diverse Climate Workforce in Marin

Special Climate Change Action Plan forum hosted by City Council Member Maika Llorens Gulati, in coordination with SF Climate Week and Sustainable San Rafael.

Tackling the climate crisis at the necessary speed and scale can create many new jobs in the North Bay. What will those jobs look like? And what can a climate forward economy do to ensure that access to the new jobs is equitable and the workforce is diverse--especially for historically excluded communities?

Hear panelists Angel Minor, Conservation Corps North Bay & Fire Foundry; Lois Smith, MCE & Green Workforce Pathways; and Sally Rogers, Ecological Workforce Initiative. Plenty of time for Q&A, followed by discussion of CCAP updates.
