News and Announcements:

Simchat Torah Project - Please Donate Today

Our synagogue is participating in the Simchat Torah Dancing through tears project: https://thesimchattorahproject.org. Its objective is to ‘unite The Jewish World and Honor The Memory Of The 1,200 Souls Lost On October 7th And The Many Hundreds Since’. During next year’s Simchat Torah we will have one of our scrolls adorned with a cover designed to mark the first yahrzeit of October 7th.

Please consider contributing towards the $1800 donation we are making for that purpose to the Mizrachi organization. You can make a donation by clicking here, or you can send in a check and put Simchat Torah Project on the memo line.

Also, if you are planning to be in Israel Sep 2nd and 3rd , consider attending events organized in Jerusalem in relation to this project. If interested, please contact either Rich Chernicoff and Menachem Rochon before Aug 11th so we can assist with your registration.
