The fire marshal is coming. Is your workspace fire-safe?

The fire marshal will be visiting HealthWest on Thursday, Oct. 21, for our regular fire safety inspection. Staff is encouraged to look over their workspace to make sure it's up to snuff. How can you make sure your workspace is fire-safe?

Make sure any power cords are in safe working condition, not tangled messes or frayed
Don't have power strips plugged into other power strips
Don't overload power strips with appliances or electronics

How to find trainings to meet your license requirements:

First, you will need to add your license to Relias if you have not already done so.
Click the “Licenses & Certifications” tab on the left side of the home screen.
Add License or Certification, enter your information, and click save.

Next click: Course Library (left side of your screen) or Browse Course Library (green button)

Change the filter to "your license."

All the modules listed should have CEs pertaining to your requirements.

Join us for family fun at this year's Halloween event. A variety of low-touch activities will take place in the MHC east parking lot between 3:30-5 pm on Oct. 28. Families can visit different stations at their leisure to play yard games, make a craft, win candy, and more! Costumes are encouraged.
