The war of Armenia with Azerbaijan in 2020 where drones essentially knocked out all the Armenian tanks was revolutionary. What amazed me most about this was that Russia did not seem to have studied this and were not prepared for the Ukrainian use of drone warfare in 2022. The Russian military leaders as Sergei Shoigu and Valery Gerasimov were asleep at the switch. It has enormously eroded the value of tanks. This has been corrected by the advances in electronic warfare by Russia which is superior to that of the US and NATO. In fact, Russia was supposed to have had a million man army but sent in only about 70,000 troops to face 400,000 Ukrainian troops trained by NATO in 2022. I do not believe that Russia had over a million troops as advertised then but much less. Their ground forces were quite insufficient for a major war. Yet using the snail offensive-mincing machine techniques the Russians have excelled in attrition warfare on the Ukraine front even from the beginning.
What Russian then did was use their advanced artillery on the NATO built Maginot Line in the Eastern Ukraine (actually historically part of Russia and consisting of Russian people), and was superior to the Maginot Line, and in a snail offensive gradually destroyed the entire Ukrainian defensive system suffering losses at about one Russian for ten Ukrainians. In a war of attrition the Russians were slowly grinding down the Ukrainian Army which continues to this day. The dead Ukrainian troops are estimated at 500,000 troops and Russia's at 50,000. That war of attrition is gradually accelerating while the Russians have rebuilt their forces to about 1.5 million troops and modernized their electronic warfare which are now very effective against drones, and their offensive missiles built up from the massive technological base built from 1999 on their defensive missiles which are the greatest in the world. It was the US 1999 bombing of defenseless Belgrade, Serbia for 78 days against three days for Adolf Hitler that finally woke Russia up. The S-500 defensive missile carries ten interceptors, travels at a speed of 15,480 miles an hour, rising to 115 miles and traveling up to 2,174 miles. They are reputed to have developed the S-600 and S-700 according to Israeli intel discussed in the next link and sealed their airspace.

These missiles created a shield that allows Russia to be able to win a nuclear war as their air space is sealed ending MAD. The question now is whether drones will be created to carry nuclear weapons to nullify the Russian defensive capacity. This may be the reason that Russia is talking about the use of nuclear weapons before their S-700 defensive missiles can be penetrated by nuclear bombing drones as Russia can now win a nuclear war.
The key to the warfare analysis of the so-called superior US air power is based on the simple fact that you cannot fly the F-35 from the United States to Europe for a battle but you have to have air fields in Europe or nearby for the US F-35 to be effective forgetting about the Erik Prince analysis that the plane is relatively inferior.. In a NATO war against Russia NATO will lose hands down even if only conventional weapons are used as every air field in the first hours of the war in Europe and England would be destroyed by Russian hypersonic missiles. The problem of the Ukraine is that it is so primitive that it hardly has any targets. NATO would then have no air power. Europe could not be resupplied as all their ports will be destroyed. One Russian submarine can knock out all British electrical power turning it back to the stone age as can be done with the rest of Europe. The US defensive missiles are relatively worthless.
As Israeli intel has stated Russia can knock out all of the British power system with missiles (zircons) launched from a conventional submarine. Though the headline below uses the word nukes Israeli intel Yakov Kedmi says only conventional weapons are required. Fifty or sixty power stations will be knocked out returning Britain to the stone age in ten minutes. Similarly, all of the French nuclear power generation for electricity would be similarly gone in such an attack. Ditto for all of Europe.
