The Pennsylvania Bus Association's 2024 Marketplace Group Leader show is scheduled for March 26, 2024 in State College, PA and hosted by Happy Valley Adventure Bureau at the Nittany Valley Sports Centre.   

To have your organization receive as much recognition as possible with our motorcoach tour planners and group leaders, PBA extends an invitation to your organization to host a FAM breakfast, brunch, lunch, tour and/or overnight excursion for PBA motorcoach operators and their group leaders in conjunction with the 2024 Marketplace.

What is a FAM? A FAM should be a complimentary event in conjunction with the Marketplace allowing a group-oriented organization to showcase their establishment and/or destination, provide a brief overview of the property, and distribute literature on why it should be considered in future group travel. Group leaders like the opportunity a FAM provides so they have firsthand knowledge of the venue so they can report back to their groups for possible inclusion in their future trip planning. It truly is a win-win for all!

Tips to "Sell" your Attraction to Tour Bus Planners: The bus tour planners will want to plan something for their group leaders to eat, see, then get back on the road, after departing Marketplace. Approximately 4 hours with 20 or 30 minutes at each attraction to allow for drive time in between is a good rule of thumb.

Anything you do to streamline the process provides value to the planner, for example, partnering with other destinations/attractions in your area to package an event. 

How do I sign up? If you are interested in providing a FAM, please click the Register Now button below. There are a limited number of openings so we would appreciate your response by November 30, 2023.

PBA will then compile a list of registered FAM organizations, including what is being offered, number of group leaders and/or coaches a venue can accommodate, and send the information to the PBA motorcoach companies. The motorcoach companies will then contact the FAM organization directly no later than January 31 with their choice which best meets their planning needs for the groups they are bringing to the 2024 Marketplace.

In appreciation of your generosity, PBA will include your company as a contributing FAM partner in our newsletter, email blasts to motorcoach companies, on our website, on our social media channels, the Marketplace Directory and we will indicate you are a FAM provider on your booth sign. If your FAM includes a meal, you will receive a complimentary half-page color ad in the Marketplace Directory as well!
