Park Hills City Employees and Community Members are nearing the goal to raise the $25,000 need to place a new playground in Elvins Park to honor the Late Paula Lee.
Paula was a 37-year employee of the City of Park Hills who suddenly lost her life to COVID-related illnesses in late 2020. Paula had a profound love for kids; all kids. For that reason, City and Community members agreed that the best way to honor her life was with the placement of new playground equipment, geared toward toddlers, in Elvins Park - a park near her home and dear to her heart. In roughly 6-months time, the effort is nearly complete; approximately $6700 to go!
