Meet Our Sister Shera Wilcox . . .

. . . Shera's Article, "Buckle Down and Buckle up!" is Published in the March/April Issue of Christian Woman!

Last August I got to see my sweet sister, Shera Wilcox , from Colorado at Polishing the Pulpit. We talked about the " Sisters, Servants, Soldiers " Ministry and Shera said she had always wanted to write for a Christian women's publication. I told her that she certainly should do that! We began exchanging emails as she worked on her " Buckle Down " article and began perfecting it. We sent it to Jodie Duke the editor of Christian Woman Magazine and WAH-LAH! Kudos to Shera f or using her talent and to Christian Woman for recognizing it!

Shera is a precious sister who was looking for other ways to use her talent for The Lord. She enjoys, "crafting, collecting hand-lettering and writing about the joy of The Lord being her strength."

"Sisters, Servants, Soldiers" is a ministry with the goal of making us women stronger and more useful in the Lord's Kingdom throughout the world! We are stronger together!

Shera's article will now be read by hundreds of our sisters around the world.

When I texted her that the article was published this month, she replied, "I'm writing more!"

You go girl!

For His Glory,

Sister Wanda Robinson Expands Her Speaking Schedule
with "Sisters, Servants, Soldiers"
You may remember that our SSS Ministry sent Sister Wanda Robinson to World Video Bible School last year to teach her lessons on "God's Hardest Commands" which are now available for our sisters worldwide! One thing we need to understand is the fact that many, many people will now learn the Gospel and be strengthened in their spiritual lives worldwide through media.

SSS is sending Wanda back to WVBS this month to tape twelve lessons from her Gospel Advocate Ladies' Books and 2 short devotionals.

Here is Wanda's Speaking Schedule . If you are in any of these areas, I hope you will join our sisters and be strengthened in The Lord!

Meet Sister Jonee' Lewis who will be teaching at our "Daughters of The King Workshop"
July 19th -23rd

It was a joy being with Sister Jonee' Lewis on the Ladies' Lectureship Program at Coleman Avenue Church of Christ in February when we looked at the critical role that women play in Restoring America Back to God.

Jonee' presented a wonderful lesson on RUTH that she will be sharing that lesson with the young ladies at the Workshop.

Besides being a precious sister in Christ , Jonee' is a Weekend Anchor and Reporter at WREG, the CBS affiliate in Memphis, TN. She will also be talking with the young ladies about her career and her daily walk with The Lord.

In the next couple of Newsletters, we will be introducing more of the teachers for the Workshop. We are taking 20 young ladies from ages 14-19 . There are still a few openings. It will be a wonderful time of in-depth Bible study, spiritual growth and fellowship.

Here is the link for Registration. You may also email the information to us at and put "Daughters of The King Workshop" on the subject line.

Meet Melissa McFerrin who is helping edit the SSS Devotional Book and will be teaching at the Daughter's of The King Workshop . . .

One of my greatest blessings in this Ministry is meeting Sisters in Christ who want to serve The Lord with their God-given talents and are willing to share them with " Sisters, Servants, Soldiers " And, yes, everyone has a talent! And SSS can use your help!

Melissa McFerrin loves travel, being outdoors, and rural life, but most of all learning and teaching, especially about God and the Christian walk. She and her husband, Clay, live in Searcy, Arkansas and worship with the Judsonia Church of Christ.

Melissa edits for a number of publications, participates in missions campaigns, and teaches ladies' groups. Her greatest desire is to serve the Lord fully and we at SSS are very thankful that she is using her gifts by selflessly working with us in serving our sisters in Christ throughout the world!

SSS News and Notes . . .
* Several of our sweet sisters' lives have been tragically impacted by the tornadoes in Tennessee this month. Please read Hatties's story below. It was written by her Daddy, Matt Collins . It will melt your heart. Please continue to pray for this family.

* Also, remember those who are rebuilding their lives daily. You may want to contact the Disaster Relief Center (1-615-834-8237) in Nashville or the area congregations in Nashville and the Cookeville area who are involved daily in the process.

President Trump visited the Disaster Relief Center and called it a model for others to copy!

* We will again be helping sister Judy Baker return to study God's Word with the people in Peru this summer.

* We continue to help support our sister, Katy Cross , in Tansania.

* I taught class with two of my granddaughters, Emma and Grace Anne Butt on the Lectureship at Freed Hardeman in February. It was a joy for me and I am expecting them to be great Sisters, Servants and Soldiers in Christ !

* Polishing the Pulpit will be August 14th through 19th in Pigeon Forge, TN, this year. You may find out more information and register here:
