We hope this message finds you in good health. We are thrilled to share some exciting news with you – the addition of a new partner to our podiatry family! Please join us in welcoming Dr. Krishna Tikiwala to University Foot Associates.

Dr. Tikiwala, a Midwesterner at heart, brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for podiatry to our practice. Born in Gujarat, India, and raised in the northwest suburbs of Detroit, Michigan, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Michigan State University. Dr. Tikiwala then earned her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine and completed her three-year foot and ankle surgery residency at Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio.

Her extensive clinical and surgical training at a level 1 trauma center has equipped her to address a diverse range of lower extremity pathologies, including trauma, sport-related injuries, pediatric foot conditions, wound care, and diabetic limb salvage. Dr. Tikiwala is dedicated to building trusting doctor-patient relationships, offering time, compassion, and personalized care. She treats each patient as family, ensuring they feel heard and prioritized.

We are excited to announce that University Foot Associates is expanding! To better fit your needs and schedules, we are adding hours and days to our practice. Rest assured, I will continue to practice and see patients. Our commitment to delivering exceptional care remains unwavering.
