Introducing New Program for Training Waldorf Mentors
Engage in the art of mindful connections.
Learn to support new teachers with compassion, understanding, and interest.
Become a trained mentor in our Mentor Training Program.
Our new low-residency Pedagogical Mentoring in Partnership Training is filling up quickly and we are thrilled! The interest and enthusiasm for the Mentor Training program at CfA is exciting for many reasons, and especially because this service is in such demand. Every year, CfA fields dozens of inquiries for available mentors and we know that supporting each individual teacher with compassion and insight is the best way to support the stability and growth of the world-wide Waldorf School movement. Based on years of research and preparation, our program was developed in close collaboration with AWSNA to meet this urgent need.
Teaching is hard work, and being a new teacher is especially challenging. Bring the fruits of your inner-work, insight, and experience to the next generation of teachers through thoughtful, informed conversations and skills.
- Our first cohort begins Saturday, January 13, 2024, and concludes on Saturday, November 16, 2024.
- We will meet online once a month on Saturdays with a focus on all phases of Waldorf education: early childhood, grades, high school, and special subjects.
- A week-long in-person residency midway through the program will be held at High Mowing School in Wilton, NH, from June 30 – July 5, 2024, in conjunction with CfA’s summertime Renewal Courses. An alternative in-person option will take place in Seattle, WA.
Registration is now open – learn more about the program on our website Mentor Training Program
