We interrupt your High Holiday prep to bring you a very special opportunity to honor our beloved Dr. Eli Schleifer. We are thrilled to announce that Mizmor L’Eli: The Eliyahu Schleifer Anthology is in active production and scheduled to debut in time for the ACC convention in Israel next summer.
Our fundraising goal for this historic volume is to have as many of you participate as possible. No donation is too small and as always, we appeal to your generosity to underwrite the costs of this collection. Many of us were blessed to learn from Eli during our time in Israel. Even if that wasn’t part of your experience, Eli’s melodies have made their way into our lexicon and his influence spans many generations.
Additionally, this book will honor the legacy of the DFSSM which began, for so many of us in Israel with Eli and continued with Cantors Israel Goldstein z''l, Bruce Ruben, Richard Cohn, and continues today with Cantor Jill Abramson.
