Coach Gabe,
former Denver University Captain, joins RMHS for Elite Camp at DU
|

Rocky Mountain Hockey Schools has new face on their roster. Gabe Gauthier has joined the RMHS staff for the 2018 summer camp season. Coach Gabe, as he goes by now, has an extensive hockey resume as a player and now coach. Currently he is the Director for the Foothills Flyers Hockey Association based out of the Edge Ice Arena, which is also the home of RMHS.
Gabe grew up playing youth hockey in California, prep school hockey out east, 3 years junior in the BCHL, 4 years college hockey at Denver University where he was the Captain, and part of two National Championships. He then moved to pro hockey spending most of his time in the AHL, played some games with the LA Kings in the NHL, along with some stints in the DEL & ECHL, including the Colorado Eagles, and finishing up with the CHL Denver Cutthroats.
The title, Coach Gabe, began when he was announced as the Head Coach of the Metro State college program. From Metro he moved to Las Vegas becoming Director of the youth program and Head Coach/GM of the junior team in the WSHL. Now with Gabe returning to Colorado, it seemed a perfect fit to bring him onboard with RMHS.

Coach Gabe will be one of the Head Instructors at the RMHS Elite Camp June 8-14 at DU

Finland Tour Information
Finland Lions Cup
July 27 - August 6, 2018
Helsinki, Finland
The RMHS Selects will be traveling to Helsinki, Finland to participate in a 5-day European Training Camp, featuring 2.5 hours on-ice per day with European Professional coaches, followed by the 3-day Finland Lions Cup, featuring top teams from Sweden, Finland, Russia, Canada and more.
Age Groups:
The Selects will be taking one teams of 12 FW, 8 D, and 2 Goaltenders max, comprised of birth year 2004, 2005 & selected 2003 players. ALL players must have competed at the AA, AAA or level, or received a personal invite from our staff during 2017-18 season.
