Job Title: International Sales Executive - Freight Forwarding


Location: NY


Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced International Sales Executive to join our freight forwarding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing new business relationships, and providing exceptional customer service to our global client base.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the international freight forwarding market
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
  • Negotiate and close sales deals to meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, customer service, etc.) to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in international sales, preferably in the freight forwarding or logistics industry
  • Strong knowledge of international trade, transportation, and logistics
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel (up to 25%)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Industry certifications (e.g. CCLP, CSCP) a plus
  • Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools
