InspireNOLA to host it’s biggest

Drive-Thru Back To School Giveaway

Backpacks, school supplies and limited laptops, bicycles and gas cards plus more available 


InspireNOLA - Back-To-School-2024

Join InspireNOLA and partners on Saturday, July 27 for the annual Drive-Thru Back to School Backpack and School Supply Giveaway starting at 10 a.m. at McDonogh 35 Senior High School, 4000 Cadillac Street, New Orleans, LA 70122.


Families from across the New Orleans area are invited to drive up and receive free backpacks, school supplies, Chromebooks, bicycles, gas cards, books, haircut vouchers and more to help students get ready for the new school year. 


This free community event is made possible through partnerships with Hancock Whitney, Zulu Social Aid and Pleasure Club, Zulu Community Service Foundation, Hancock Whitney, Mystic Krewe of Femme Fatale, the New Orleans Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., State Senator Jimmy Harris, Orleans Parish School Board Member Olin Parker, City Councilmember Freddie King and City Councilmember Eugene Green. This event is free and open to the Public. All items will be given on a First come, First served Basis. Cars will be limited to one backpack, per child in the vehicle. One computer or bicycle per vehicle, while supplies last.
