ASI Chief Government Relations Officer – Reminded members of the California State Student Association (CSSA)’s November plenary meeting this weekend with Jain. Announced they are working with Lowenthal’s district team to plan a second legislative visit, a replacement for Burgener will be appointed by next semester and reviewed Lena Gonzalez’s 33rd Senate district event.

ASI Lobby Corps Vice Chair – Announced they are continuing research on National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) to keep up to date on impaction of student athletes from federal name, image and likeness (NIL) legislation.

ASI Lobby Corps Representative At-Large – Achacon announced they have finished the Friendsgiving November Social flyer and has continued brainstorming ideas for greater social media engagement.

ASI Senate – Melendrez provided updates on SR #2024-06 Reaffirming Support for the Philippine Human Rights Act (PHRA) and Lobby Corps’ potential involvement on the resolution.
