This high-level overview of public procurement requirements, and the process to procure goods and services at RTD, must be completed by all non-represented employees. Salaried colleagues will be enrolled in this online module and notified by email and through Workday when the course is available. They will have 30 days to complete it once assigned. Any questions about the content of this course can be directed to Contract Manager Brenda Leo, at brenda.leo@rtd-denver.com, or purchasing.help@rtd-denver.com.

To supplement the material in Procurement 101, the Contracting and Procurement team is developing additional trainings that delve deeper into important procurement subjects, such as Preparing an Independent Cost Estimate, Writing an Effective Statement of Work and How to Serve on an Evaluation Committee. Watch for more details later this year.

From Cybersecurity: Don't get fooled by 'malvertising'

Most websites do not choose who advertises on their page. Instead, they use ad networks that manage the advertisers, traffic and payments. Cybercriminals can take advantage of this system by fooling the ad networks into thinking that they are a legitimate advertiser. Once part of the ad network, cybercriminals use their ads to target anyone willing to click. Remember that just because the website is reputable and well-known does not mean that the ads on the website are safe to click as well.
