Two New COVID-19 Response Funds for Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho
Innovia Foundation is responding to the significant impact of the COVID-19 pandemic to Eastern WA and North ID nonprofits.
In coming weeks, COVID-19 Community Response Funds will be rapidly deployed to communities which are disproportionately impacted by coronavirus and the economic consequences of the outbreak.
Initially, grant funding will support nonprofit organizations providing community safety nets and those with strong experience working with the immediate needs of populations made vulnerable by the COVID-19 pandemic.
U.S. Small Business Administration Amends Disaster Declaration
SBA disaster assistance is now available in all counties within our region.
Small businesses, private non-profit organizations of any size, small agricultural cooperatives and small aquaculture enterprises that have been financially impacted as a direct result of the COVID-19 since Jan. 31 may qualify for Economic Injury Disaster Loans of up to $2 million to help meet financial obligations and operating expenses, which could have been met had the disaster not occurred.
If you are interested in applying for an SBA Disaster Loan, it is an online process. Normal processing time is between 15-20 working days after you submit, however please understand that the volume they are getting is extreme and they are working as hard and fast as possible to get all of these applications processed and funded if possible. If your County does not yet show up on the application website, please be patient and check back a couple of times per day. It will eventually show up.
