Heartwood Students Create Art

On Friday, March 15, Heartwood School was visited by Zot Artz, a Kalamazoo-based arts organization dedicated to providing art activities for children and adults with disabilities. The students engaged in creating a huge floor mural utilizing art rollers, pogo paint sticks and stamp designs. They also operated bubble blowers and a whirling art tool. These tools were also designed to attach to wheelchairs and walkers when needed. Fun was had by all and the finished product was amazing! #InghamImpact

North Star School Celebrates Reading Month

The students and staff at North Star School have been challenging each other to read more books during reading month. In fact, they are hoping to read 3,600 minutes collectively before April 8, 2024. The reading must be in addition to their regular classwork, and both students and staff can add a "book to the shelf" for every thirty minutes of reading they complete. At the end of the challenge, the winner will receive a special lunch. #InghamImpact #MarchisReadingMonth
