The DD Council is currently seeking applicants for the following positions:

LaTEACH Team Leaders:
Regions 3, 5, 7, 8 & 9
LaTEACH Team Leaders develop relationships with local LaTEACH members and the policymakers (legislators & BESE members) who represent them and serve as a link between the two. Leaders support team members in their advocacy efforts for inclusive education. Applications will be accepted until the positions are filled. Click here for more information. |

LaCAN Team Leaders:
Regions 3, 4 & 10
LaCAN Team Leaders develop relationships with local LaCAN members and legislators who represent them and serve as a link between the two. Leaders support team members in their advocacy efforts for improving home and community-based services. Applications will be accepted until the positions are filled. DD Council Membership: Regions 6, 7, or 8
DD Council members are appointed by the Governor and serve four-year terms. Applications are reviewed by the Council and recommendations are sent to the Governor for his consideration. Deadline: July 14, 2015. Click here for more information. |
