ICYMI | Join Class Action Settlement & Share Thoughts on New Credit Charges
This month it was announced Canadian businesses are now able to pass on a new credit card surcharge to consumers. This comes as a result of a new Class Action Settlement against Mastercard & Visa for restricting merchants’ ability to surcharge or refuse higher cost (“premium”) credit cards.
  • Join the settlement:
  • You could be eligible to receive up to $5000 if you apply before Dec.30th. The BCHA is working with Class Action Capital to make this process as seamless as possible. CAC will receive a percentage of commission.
  • Take the Survey:
  • Complete a 1 minute anonymous survey, outlining your approach to these new charges before Thursday Oct.27 at 5pm. Results will be shared with our accommodation members only to help operators understand how their competition is moving forward with the changes.
