12/02/2023 SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITY

Just after midnight on December 2nd, IHPD officers responded to a single vehicle collision at the intersection of Old Brownsboro Road and Chenoweth Lane. This collision caused significant damage to LG&E and AT&T equipment. The driver fled on foot prior to officers arriving to the scene.

At approximately 2:30 AM, IHPD officers responded to a possible break-in in progress on Duff Lane. The caller stated someone was checking doors to gain entry into the home. Officers located an adult male in the driveway and were able to identify him as the driver of the vehicle involved in the earlier crash. This person was arrested for several offenses and lodged in Louisville Metro Corrections.

While this message is primarily meant to inform you of the activity in the area, please also use it as yet another reason to always secure your vehicles and homes. The simple locking of doors in this case may have prevented a much more significant crime - or tragedy - from occurring.
