The Indian Hills Police Department is investigating several crimes that originate from mail stolen from USPS blue boxes in the area, primarily those located at Holiday Manor. The thieves are not only altering checks taken in the thefts, but also using victim identities to access and steal money from bank accounts.
We strongly encourage everyone to avoid using the blue boxes for any mail that contains personal or financial information (checks, credit applications, etc.)
