Transportation Information

We are so excited to welcome our students back to Indian Hill Middle School! Here is some information that will hopefully help ease some nerves and answer any last minute questions or concerns you may have.

Transportation

  • Bus riders will enter through the Sue Harder Auditorium entrance and will head straight to the cafeteria. Students will be dismissed from the cafeteria at 7:50 a.m.
  • Car riders will be dropped off along the sidewalk in front of the main entrance. The front doors will be open so they can access the foyer but the doors into the building will not open until 7:40 a.m. and will then head straight to the cafeteria.

Afternoon Car Rider Line

Please see the image above for a map of our parking lot. A couple of important notes:

  • When entering, stay to the right and drive all the way around the circle (see red arrows on image).
  • Pull up to the end of the sidewalk.
  • Students may only be picked up on the sidewalk. We do not allow students to cross the car line into the parking lot and do not allow parents to park and walk across to their students for safety reasons.
  • Once you have picked up your student, you may exit down any of the aisles in the parking lot (see white arrows on image).

Please reach out to our Transportation Team at 513-272-4531 with any transportation questions, thanks!

STEP

STEP is an after school homework session open to all grades! Facilitated by two or more MS teachers, STEP provides help with anything a student might need. We meet Monday - Thursday in room 224 of the MS except for the second and third Tuesday of each month and any day that we are not in session. Students can come as often as they like! If you have any questions, please email katie.dillenburger@ihsd.us.

IH Clubs- Now in Final Forms

Important Updates Regarding IH-Sponsored Clubs

Starting with the 2024-2025 school year, both middle and high school parents/guardians will have the ability to sign their student up for clubs through Final Forms.

Please refer to the Parent Walkthrough Instructions for step-by-step guidance on how to add your student to a club’s official roster.

To ensure a smooth process for club advisors, we kindly ask parents to confirm with their student that they are interested in participating before completing the registration on Final Forms.

Please note that signing up for a club on Final Forms does not replace the need for middle and high school students to stay informed. Students should continue to listen to or read daily announcements and regularly check their Class of Page for club communications and updates.

Required Vaccinations for 2024-2025 7th Grade Class

The State of Ohio requires students to show proof of having received a Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis booster (Tdap) AND one dose of the Meningococcal (MCV4) vaccine before beginning their 7th-grade year. Most students have already received these vaccinations and an updated immunization record is all that is needed. Please see the link below for more information.
