Community Project Brings Together Town and Gown in Kutztown, PA

Kutztown University is partnering with Kutztown Community Partnership to bring a world class, one-of-a-kind Keith Haring Fitness Park to campus. The project is an opportunity to pay reverence to one of its native sons born and raised in Kutztown.

College Towns Come Back to Life

The local economies of college towns were hit especially hard during the pandemic. On Tuesday afternoon Cornell University organized a virtual forum of college and community experts to discuss their struggles and successes in reviving local economies post-pandemic.

ISU to be Featured on Amazon Prime Show 'The College Tour'

A show highlighting colleges across the country has made its way to Central Illinois. Illinois State University will be spotlighted on the Amazon Prime show 'The College Tour.' Film crews will follow 10 students around as they share their experience at ISU.

University Announces Temporary Housing for Afghan Refugees

The University of Maryland is working with the IRC to house some Afghan refugees for up to a year. The initiative is the "first-of-its-kind for a public university," according to a statement, as the refugees will be housed in campus facilities.

Clean Up Day Recognizes Importance of UWM Neighbors

Media are invited to attend as UWM students, faculty, staff and campus neighbors participate in a cleanup day in the neighborhood surrounding the Milwaukee campus on Wednesday, April 13. The local event is part of the Inaugural Campus & Community Day.
