Friday Deadline to Update Congregational Statistics |
It is that time again to submit your congregation’s end-of-year statistics and update your current list of lay leaders at the following website: https://lc.lcms.org.
Use the same login information that you used last year to register your Presidential Voters. If you cannot remember the username and/or password you created for your congregation
last year, follow the on-screen helps on the login page to recover your login credentials. Or contact the Rosters and Statistics Department at Rosters.Stats@lcms.org or 314-996-1366, and staff will assist you.
Up-to-date statistical information is essential for the Synod as it plans current and future
ministry efforts. Such information is also critical for determining proper voting representation
at conventions.
Emails for lay leaders will be increasingly important as channels for critical convention communications.
The deadline for congregation statistics and lay leaders is Friday, May 31, 2024. You may
also review your congregation’s profile and lay leader information anytime throughout the
year to make sure your contact information, service times, and other important data are
current.

School Spotlight: St. John's Lutheran School Bakersfield |
St. John’s preschool has been around since 1958 and its elementary school has served the community since 1971. The school is an important ministry of St. John’s Lutheran Church, which has been in various locations in Bakersfield since 1912. The church and school moved to their current location in 1993 – a 35-acre campus that was originally donated by a local farmer.
St. John’s is one of the largest schools in the CNH District with 450 students in K-8 and 166 students in the preschool. Pastor Eric Van Sharrel has served as Senior pastor for the past 10 years while Principal Evan Anwyl has been at St. John’s since 2018. We praise God for the ministry of St. John’s Lutheran School and the way in which they further the Gospel in the CNH District!

Kingdom Wins: Holy Cross, Los Gatos, Children's Center Program |
The Holy Cross Lutheran Church Children’s Center Program in Los Gatos, CA, is accommodating children with developmental disabilities. While they initially started with supporting one student, they now serve six students with their respective Occupational Therapists, coming from a variety of school districts throughout the Bay Area.
In addition to being a blessing for those six families, it is also a boon for the typically-developed children who are learning to accept those who are differently abled, to interact and befriend them well.
