The Michigan On-Farm Produce Safety Team strives to match that dedication by providing resources and support to our growers. Produce Safety Alliance Grower Training

Learn the basics of the FSMA Produce Safety Rule in a one-day Produce Safety Training!

The PSA Grower Training Course is one way to satisfy the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Produce Safety Rule requirement outlined in §112.22(c) that requires, "At least one supervisor or responsible party from your farm must have successfully completed food safety training at least equivalent to that received under standardized curriculum recognized as adequate by the Food and Drug Administration."

Online Produce Safety Supervisor Training

Michigan State University Extension is offering a course for farm supervisors to provide support as they navigate the requirements of the FSMA Produce Safety Rule. This course will provide supervisors with information about the Produce Safety Rule, and how to use relevant resources to support their farm's compliance with the rule. Space is limited, so register today!
