Align the Self Logo
This Sunday, 12/21, is Winter Solstice here in the Northern Hemisphere. It's the shortest day and longest night of the year. It's a time when nature is most still. The darkness of night is most predominant. Like an engine lulled to near-halt before a tiny spark of light gives birth to a new year. This time is ripe for stillness, inner reflection, seeing into our own darkness before a spark of light, of hope, brings a new dawn and yet another cycle for more light and expansion.

As you pause in the space of stillness before light, I offer you these questions for your own reflection:

Looking back on this year
What has been the darkest and most difficult part of this year for you? How has it impacted you?
What aspects of yourself do need to shed light upon? Where could you be more honest on "on to yourself"?
What are three of your sweetest triumphs? What made them so sweet?

Moving forward from here
What essential quality of yours do you want to embody and allow to shine more brightly in the coming year?
What aspect of your life needs more attention?
What next steps will you take for this stage of my journey?
What support do you need? What requests will you make?

Happy holidays, blessings and much love to you,
Rebecca
