Report a Suspected Bloom

Water Level in Lacamas Lake Scheduled to Drop

What's the Drawdown?

The City of Camas will lower the depth of Lacamas and Round lakes by about six-feet to inspect and repair the dam.

Keep an eye out for scum along the shoreline, shallow water plus sunny days is a recipe for an algal bloom.

The drawdown should take a few days, with the lowest level being reached by Friday, Sept. 27, 2024.

Curious about what's going on at Vancouver Lake? You're invited to presentations from multiple organizations working together to restore water quality and habitat in Vancouver Lake.
