Lacamas Lake Treatment July 19th 2024

Lacamas Lake Management Plan Info

Starting Friday, July 19, at 7 a.m., crews will begin treatment for Lacamas Lake. The team will use the Leadbetter Road Boat Launch for staging, and work should be complete by approximately 3 p.m., Friday afternoon.

Crews will focus on the heavy use areas before moving to the larger body of the lake. You will potentially see multiple boats out conducting work, please provide them with space to do so. We ask that the public limit recreational activities during the application, however, if you’re on the lake please stay away from the spray application boats.

Bugs, Bugs, And More Bugs!

The bugs are here! Just like you and me, the bugs love to be by the water. However, the bugs also love to cause us a hassle. In order to maintain peace by the water, bug spray can be used to safely deter them.

A well-known brand from the store, or your own home-made bug repellent works wonders!

Make sure to bring bug spray for you and your family to stay bothersome free this summer season.
