Know Your Limits In The Sun

Mayo Clinic Minute: Heat exhaustion and heatstroke

Swimming in our local rivers and lakes is a great way to beat the heat. However, knowing when it's time to come ashore and head home or into a cool area is very important!

Keep an eye on younger children and older adults for signs of exhaustion and make sure to bring plenty of snacks, water, and always keep your phone charged in case of an emergency

Knowing yours, and your family members, limits when it comes to outdoor play is important to keep everyone safe this summer.
