Did you know Vancouver Lake Regional park has over 190 acres along 2.5 miles of the western shore of the lake? Hang out in the shade for a pic-nic, try your hand at fishing, take a dip a the swim beach, or launch a kayak from the beach!
Nature sightings may include:
1) Three mountains are viewable from the swim beach: Mt. Saint Helens, Mt. Adams, and Mt. Hood; 2) a large white bird, the snowy egret, has a 3 foot wingspan; and 3) the old oak trees along the Loop Trail. Check out this fun guide to the park here.
