WARNING ADVISORY

  • Vancouver Lake (NEW 8/22/24)
  • Round Lake (Issued 8/15/24)


A WARNING Advisory has been issued due to increased levels of toxins:

  • Swimming and wading not advised especially for young children.  
  • When fishing, clean fish well and wash hands and equipment after.  
  • If coming into contact with water; rinse off before and after. 
  • Know where the bathrooms and changing stations are located. 

An active toxic algae bloom was observed this week at Vancouver Lake. Photos are from the swim beach and flushing channel entry.
