Annual Cornhole Tournament Fundraiser

Last Friday, Planning, Design & Construction (PD&C) and Business Affairs Technical Services (BATS)  held their 11th Annual Cornhole Tournament Fundraiser. 100% of the funds raised have gone to the annual UF Campaign for Charities. Thank you to all who participated in this great cause!

Meet Julie Ramsey, Ergonomics Coordinator for Environmental Health and Safety.


Julie coordinates several different programs within the Occupational Safety and Risk Management Division of the EH&S Office. These programs include Ergonomics, Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs), and Incident/Injury Reporting. In addition, she volunteers as a departmental representative for the UF Campaign for Charities, TAPS Parking Appeals Committee, and more!

CALM Week!

This past weekend the Office of Sustainability and PD&C held their CALM Week Green and Clean, where students, faculty, and staff picked up litter and removed invasive species in Bartram Carr Woods.

Additionally, through partnering with Florida Fresh Dining, last week there was a "How to Hydrate for the Outdoors,” event, where students, faculty, and staff got to try DIY electrolyte snow cones!

UFPD and GatorWell are encouraging the public to remove unneeded medications from their homes as a measure of preventing medication misuse and opioid addiction.

Disposing of unneeded medication is anonymous.
