The Champions for Change Awards is a celebration of those who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation, and dedication to driving positive change in the area of sustainability or health and wellness while at UF. Nominees may include students, faculty, staff, student organizations, and groups.

Meet UFPD Officer Victor Beguiristain.


Officer Beguiristain is a recruiting officer in the community services division. He serves as a liaison with the community at various events and academies for both crime prevention, as well as recruiting talented individuals to join the department.

Toys for Tots Holiday Drive

Our division’s Toys for Tots holiday drive was a huge success, helping to bring joy to over 4,000 children across Alachua, Dixie, Levy, and Gilchrist counties.
