We are already planning our annual fundraiser at Meadow Vue Ranch
As a foundation we always look forward to seeing our members and enjoying the wonderful outdoors of Island Park. The setting of Meadow Vue ranch, to the southwest of Henrys Lake, never disappoints. Cody and the team prepare a great BBQ with all the fixings, along with a great salad bar and fresh baked desert. Refreshments before dinner is a great time to mingle and meet other members. Talking with our directors and learning more about our project activities will give you a great opportunity to see exactly how your donations are put to work to ensure the preservation and protection of the fishery of Henrys Lake.
This year we have set a tentative date of June 30th. We will get started at 5:30pm. We will have sodas, beer, and wine for your enjoyment. Everything else is included in your meal ticket. We have not yet confirmed their availability, but we hope to again book the Fall River Boys (Rand Hillman and Mark Seeley) for some great cowboy music. They are one of my favorites and something I am really looking forward to.
Meadow Vue Ranch is more than just a great place to hold our annual fundraiser. It supports groups of young persons who can benefit by working with others and learning what it takes to work on a ranch. They hone their skills riding and get to benefit by interacting with others that may be going through similar challenges as themselves. I know several families that have had their children attend and they always describe a very positive experience that ultimately all the kids learn to appreciate.
As we plan for the event, we are always looking for donations for the silent auctions. We will of course solicit our supporting vendors for the traditional rod, reel, flies and other items but if there is anything you would like to donate related to fishing or the outdoors, please do not hesitate to contact us.
