Women’s Sweet Sunday

Join us on Sunday, March 10, from 4-6 PM in Fellowship Hall for a time of

laid-back fellowship and sweet treats, as we "Connect & Celebrate" with

a dose of God’s Word. All women and teen girls are welcome.

Building Disciples

Become a disciple who can make disciples in 2024.

• Know the Blueprint: As a subscriber to In the Know, you will automatically receive Pastor JD’s daily Bible Reading. You will be guided to read through the Bible chronologically in 2024. 
• Sharpen Your Tools: Learn how to share your faith easily and conversationally. Watch for information on the next classes offered.
• Set the Foundation: A new 4-week Connect Class, “Base Camp: The First Steps in Understanding DBC and Getting Equipped to Climb the Mountain of Discipleship,” has begun on Sunday mornings at 9:45. 

DBC Cares

Are you looking for a place to serve? DBC Cares needs you! Join us on Tuesday, March 5, to write get-well cards, birthday greetings, or notes of encouragement to people in our congregation. We meet from 1:00 – 3:00 PM in the Children’s Wing on the first Tuesday of each month. If you have any questions, please call the church office at (614)889-2307. 

Spring Clean-Up Day

On Saturday, March 16, we will have a Spring Clean-up Day! Join us as we spruce up the church for the spring. Everyone is welcome to help as we clean and declutter from 9 AM–noon.

Library Open House

Join us in the library for an “Open House” on Sunday, March 17 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Meet the Library Ministry Team and check out the resources available. There is something for everyone; learn how to find books that interest you!

Passover Meal

Come and Experience Christ in the Passover with us. Join us for this amazing presentation of the elements of the traditional “Seder” meal with the emphasis on Jesus—our Passover Lamb! Please register for this meal; space is limited.

Japan Mission Trip

We are taking a mission trip to Utsonomiya, Japan, from July 16 to August 10. We will partner with Faith Lackey to put on a Vacation Bible School! We will spend the 16 days traveling, preparing for the camp, putting on the camp, and taking time to be together as a team and connect with Jesus! If you cannot go on the trip with us, we would be honored if you feel led to contribute to our trip! Click on this link to register or donate.

Preschool

This month, our preschoolers will use the “GO TEAM!” theme to learn that Jesus wants to be our friend forever. Jesus wants EVERYONE on His team, even people like the women at the well who had made bad choices.

Mom’s Day Out begins new family registration on Friday, March 1. Forms are available on our new website, momsdayoutdbc.com, and at the preschool welcome desk.

DBC Kids

DBC Kids on Wednesday night is going well! We would love to have your kids join us from 6:30-7:30! 

Our new series on Sunday morning is “Connected.” Our virtue for this month is “Peace.” Our verse for the month is Romans 12:18: “If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.” 

On Saturday, April 20 we will have a Family Spring Planting Party in the ARC! 

Please invite your friends! Each family member will get to decorate a pot and fill it with soil and a plant or flower. We want at least one of the pots your family decorates to be given to someone else: a neighbor, a friend, or someone in a nursing home or assisted living facility. This would be an easy way to invite a friend or neighbor to church! 

Everyone must register so we have enough supplies and space.

Kids camp will be June 17-20 for completed 3^rd-6^th graders! We will be attending “Camp Kid Jam”, hosted by “Orange” (Our Sunday morning curriculum group). Camp will be at Taylor University in Upland, Indiana. If your child would like to attend, please start the registration process by clicking this link.

VBS is June 3-6! 6:00-8:30 PM. The theme is “Start the Party!”.
