A Family For Your Family

Sunday, July 21, 2024

Do you sometimes get frustrated because you keep making the same mistakes over and over again?

This week, we will look at the second half of chapter nine in Nehemiah.

The priests will continue leading the people in a prayer

of confession and remembrance.

Join us on Sunday morning at 8:45 and 11:00 as we discuss how a lack of confession and remembrance can cause us to keep repeating our past mistakes.

If you cannot attend in person, check out our live stream at 11:00 AM on Facebook or YouTube, or go to Dublinbaptist.com and click the "Online Services" button.

Deacon of the Week:

John Yerkey will serve as Deacon of the Week from Sunday, July 21, through Saturday, July 27. If needed, please contact him by email at deacons@dublinbaptist.com or (614)551-2684.

Road Construction

Please note that Brand Road is closed between Coffman Road and Avery Muirfield Drive due to a bridge replacement. The road will be closed until August 1. If you take this route to church, please plan accordingly.

...and more construction

Due to weather conditions this past week, our contractors working on the storm water project did not make as much progress as they hoped. Due to these delays, we will continue to use our temporary (and a bit slower) internet service and temporary phone solution. Please be patient with us as we work through these issues.

Also, note that this may affect the live stream on Sunday and the technology throughout the building.

Ministry Fair

Our annual Ministry Fair will be in the hallways on July 14, 21, and 28. This event is an opportunity for you to learn about our ministries and participate in one or more of them. Come and be a part of the growing ministries here at Dublin Baptist!

Morning of Prayer

Join us on Saturday, July 20, from 10:00 to 11:30 AM in the Sanctuary for a special time of prayer. Everyone is welcome.

Japan Mission Trip

We are sending an 8-person team to Utsunomiya, Japan, from July 26 to August 10. This team consists of DBC and Christ Love Fellowship students. For the second year, we are partnering with DBC missionary Faith Lackey. The team will help run a Christian Youth Retreat with 20-25 Japanese youths and a Christmas-theme VBS equivalent with up to 150 children. We will grow in our faith as we share the gospel with children and teens. We would be honored if you would pray for us and consider financially supporting us.  Click on this link to donate.

Stowe Mission Block Party

Mark your calendar for Tuesday, July 30, from 4-7 PM for the next Block Party at Stowe Mission. The goal of the Block Party is to reach the Stowe Mission Community physically and spiritually to promote fellowship and an understanding of the mission's services. We need YOU to set up, cook, serve, or, most importantly, provide outreach to this community by praying and sharing your faith. Click here to register.

Preschool

Our preschoolers will learn this Sunday that “I can help my friends have joy.” Paul wrote a letter to Jesus’ friends, telling them how they could love like Jesus and help their friends have joy. We can love like Jesus because Jesus loves us and gives us joy.
