On this sad occasion, the Pastor, Board of Trustees, and all the auxiliary bodies of St. Sarkis Church, extend their heartfelt sympathy to Michael's family members.

Michael Baghdoian M.D., 80, of Grosse Ile, Michigan, we was born in Detroit in 1943 to Antranik and Rosalie Baghdoian and wanted to be a doctor at a very young age and never wavered. Michael obtained his medical degree from the University of Michigan in 1968, following his graduation he served in the Army, training the Green Beret Medical Corps. He left the service as a Major and was devoted to serving the downriver community as an exceptional orthopedic surgeon over four decades.

FAMILY MEMBERS

Michael is preceded in death by his wife Mary Lou and brother Andrew (Marie), and is survived by son Michael II, daughter Julie (Matthew), beloved life-partner Margaret and her son Gregory (Rebecca), brother Arthur, sister Mary, grandchildren Iris, Wolfgang, Veda, nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews.

SERVICE ARRANGEMENTS

Visitation will take place on Friday, March 8, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Czopek Funeral Home, 2157 Oak St, Wyandotte, MI 48192.  Visitations will continue at Saint Sarkis Armenian Apostolic Church on Saturday, March 9, 2024 starting at 12:30 p.m. with Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m.
