It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of CC International’s Puerto Rico Project Coordinator Hector Saroza.
A Memorial Service for Hector will be on Saturday, April 28th at 6pm at
Iglesia Bautist Hermanos Unidos Fajardo PR Quebrada Vuelta.
The
Puerto Rico Project
has had to adapt and expand to meet challenges as Puerto Rico continues to recover, and Hector has been an essential leader and integral part of this.
His love and dedication to serving others inspired the hundreds of volunteers who had the good fortune to work with him over the past six years.
Our dear friend and colleague will be deeply missed. Although we can never replace Hector we can honor his life and continue his mission of helping the people of Puerto Rico recover and thrive.
We are starting the
Hector Saroza Memorial Fund for Puerto Rico
in his honor and will be organizing special service trips to Puerto Rico for those who knew and worked with Hector. Both of these initiatives will support the continuation of projects developed by Hector over the past six years.
We who knew and loved Hector will do our best to continue his legacy of selfless service and positive action in his beloved Puerto Rico.
