Masters Association Board Meeting 6/12/2024

New Addition to the Master Team!

Please join us in welcoming Cheryl Hammond to the Master Association Team. Cheryl brings a strong administrative and IT background and will serve as the General Manager’s Assistant and Communication Coordinator.

We are confident that Cheryl will be a tremendous asset to our team, bringing her expertise and enthusiasm to enhance our operations and communication efforts. Her skills and positive attitude make her a valuable addition, and we look forward to the many contributions she will make to our community.

Master Board Appointment

We want to inform you that Forrest Davis has departed from the board following the sale of his house, making him ineligible to continue serving.

This departure left a vacancy on the board, which we have filled after thorough discussion. To ensure fairness and continuity, the board decided to appoint the individual with the next highest votes from the last election. We are pleased to announce that George Cordelli has been voted in as the newest board member.

George is a former Master Director with extensive experience in infrastructure and the inner workings of the Master Association. He previously served as the Engineer in Charge for the New York Department of Transportation. We are confident his vast knowledge in paving and infrastructure will bring valuable insights and dedication to our board. Please join us in welcoming George Cordelli!

As we welcome George, we bid farewell to Forrest Davis, a remarkable individual who has been an integral part of our community since 1996. For 27 years, Forrest has served Kings Point in various capacities, and for the past 9 years, he has been a dedicated member of the Master Association Board.

The current Board is profoundly grateful for Forrest's years of dedicated service, unwavering commitment, and tireless advocacy for the residents of Kings Point. As he embarks on a new chapter with his family up north, we wish him happiness and well-being.

Forrest, your contributions will be remembered for years to come. You will be greatly missed, and we hope you enjoy this well-deserved time with your loved ones.

New Tower & Antenna

Exciting news, Kings Point community! The new tower and antenna for our radio club are well underway. This upgrade will significantly expand handheld radio coverage throughout Kings Point, ensuring residents can seek assistance even when cellular service is unavailable. It also provides a dedicated communication channel for management and vendors post-storm. Don’t miss the amazing rendering video from our vendor—check it out now! We’re aiming for installation sometime in July and will keep you updated on our progress. Stay tuned!

Newly Painted Gazebo in Hassel Park

Our gazebo in Hassel Park has received a fresh coat of paint! Stop by to enjoy its new look and take in the beauty of nature once the rain clears up.
