Mid April 2024

Dear Hyla,

So many things going on in the next two weeks - I thought I should send out a reminder. There is still time to purchase tickets for the concert and film next week. Plus, you won't want to miss the nurses exhibit in the community gallery!

(Or my daughter's jewelry Pop-Up in Gallery One).

Hope to see you soon. Bring a friend!

Enjoy!

Hyla

Eileen's art is very different. It's abstract, surreal, and amazing all at once. The dates of her exhibit are March 26 through May 10. The Ford Family Foundation gave us a grant to pay for catalogs of her exhibit which we will be able to give to all visitors.

My work is created by using paintings, drawings and digital resources created from real and manipulate images to digitally change and exaggerate them to explore and reveal my personal insights and impressions of a particular time and place rather than just a snapshot of it.

If you get this far....

We are having our fifth grade field trips again and part of the adventure is a story of art from 40,000+ years ago to the present.

Just a few days ago there was news about frescos that have been discovered in Pompeii! I guess we need to update our presentation soon.

THANK YOU!
