DAYBREAK NEIGHBORHOOD NEWS - MARCH 30, 2017

It's time to face the facts: 29% of all fatalities on Utah roads involve people who aren't even in a car.

That's almost  100 pedestrians, bicyclists and motorcyclists killed on Utah roads each year.

Only together can we reach our goal of Zero Fatalities .

Helping Out Our Furry Friends

Just a reminder that we need to be diligent about cleaning up after our pets.

The warm weather will bring more people out to our wonderful public spaces and no one wants to find a surprise on the middle of grass.

If your pets poops... you must scoop!
Windy Days Ahead

As spring draws closer, we will have more windy days as the temperatures increase. With that comes debris being transported from construction sites to other areas of Daybreak.

Let's all do our part to keep our neighborhood looking fabulous. If some debris from construction find its way on to your property please move it to a proper trash container.
Safety tips for dealing with solicitors
  • If you don't know the person or feel uneasy, don't open the door. Never feel obligated to greet an unfamiliar person knocking at your door.
  • Solicitors must have a business license and permit, ask for documentation. Call your local law enforcement agency if a solicitor is aggressive or asks to enter your home.
  • If you are not interested, simply close the door and lock it. You don't owe the person an explanation.
  • Always keep doors and windows locked. Storm doors or security doors are helpful when dealing with solicitors, because you can see and speak safely through the door. Never allow an unfamiliar person into your house.
  • You can always use the Non Emergency phone number for the South Jordan Police Department
