Every student in grade 6-12 will be issued a take home device for the 2018-19 school year as part of the RepMO Ready plan. Our goal is to provide a digital learning device to all secondary students for use both at school and at home. In order to receive their technology devices and class schedules, students in grades 6-12 must have the following two forms signed and turned in to school prior to the first day of classes. We highly encourage that both of these forms be turned in at RHS student information day, freshman orientation or RMS open house.
(further information will be coming from principals next week)
Students are responsible for the care of their assigned technology device at all times, both at school and home. The district strongly encourages families to purchase an Accidental Damage Protection Plan (ADPP), explained on the Student Technology Form (link above) and also in the short video below.
ADPP can be purchased: (Deadline for beginning of year payment is August 21st. After that, deadline is prior to device going home.)
High School - Student Information Day, Open House, Main Office
Middle School - Open House, Main Office
Please also take time to review the Student Technology Agreement referenced on the Policy and Procedure Acknowledgement Page and listed in the student handbooks (RHS student handbookandRMS student handbook).
We look forward to implementing take home devices for all secondary students next school year! Should you have any questions, please refer them toedtech@republicschools.org.
