Important Notice

On Friday, September 7th, the Santa Maria Shelter will be closed for adoptions. However, we will remain open for pet reclaims and the intake of stray animals. You can still reach us at 833-422-8413.

Our staff and volunteers will be participating in essential training provided by Dogs Playing for Life. This training is designed to enhance our ability to improve the quality of life for dogs in our care, leading to more successful adoptions and fewer dogs being overlooked through the implementation of playgroups and enrichment activities.

Please note: The Lompoc and Santa Barbara Shelters will be open and operating under normal business hours of 10 am - 6pm.
