PLEASE READ: Memo on Star-Levels & 2021 NJTL Enrollment

The Foundation has determined and outlined changes to Star-Levels and the upcoming 2021 NJTL Enrollment in the below memo. Also outlined within the memo is all grant funding implications, effects to chapter charters, and a timeline for upcoming events and email blasts, application open dates and any webinars that the Foundation will be hosting in the upcoming months.

The Excellence Team Program Self-Audit

The USTA Foundation Excellence Team provides support to under-resourced players ages 12-18, who are excelling academically (minimum 3.0 GPA) and in competitive tennis. To be considered for the Excellence Team program status at the Developmental or Excellence Team level, please complete this self-audit for your NJTL program.

The deadline to submit your audit is Friday, December 20, 2020.

Reminder: Upcoming December Webinar

This is a reminder that the Foundation will be hosting a webinar to discuss some of the information covered in the aforementioned memo, with a focus on the Foundation's plan for Star-Levels going forward as well as any pertinent information and changes that may be made due to the impact of COVID-19 on the NJTL network and programming in 2020.

On Wednesday night, November 18th, 2020, twenty-two NJTL Chapters from the Foundation's three-year program, which focuses on building the NJTL's infrastructure and developing its sustainability in order to effectively and efficiently serve our most under-resourced youth.

The MaliVai Washington Youth Foundation provides after school and summer enrichment programs to low income youth in the greater Jacksonville, FL area. During COVID-19, our programs have switched to Zoom rooms--including weekly “Zoom Tennis & Fitness” with our coaches.
