The 2023 GFCO proficiency testing round, Wheat Gluten in Pretzels, is now available. You may sign up to receive sample sets any time between now and November 30th at www.gluten.org/proficiency-registration. Preliminary reports will be issued throughout the year as you submit your results, and the final report for the round will be issued in January of 2024. Please remember that we can only accept one set of results per sample set, so if you would like to use PT as part of the competency testing of your staff, you will need to order a separate sample set for each individual.

  1. Donate products from the show floor (pallets accepted, or we can pick up your extras)
  2. Commit to sending a product donation in 2023 (quantities 500+)
  3. Work with GIG Cares to place an order of your product with wholesale/distributor pricing
  4. Commit to a monetary donation ($750 minimum) or a donor match to GIG Cares in 2023

May is Celiac Awareness Month, a time when the GF community is focused on awareness, advocacy and sharing facts and stories. Plan NOW to participate in GIG’s Celiac Awareness Month campaign by:  


  1. Providing a testimonial on the value of GFCO certification which will be used in pr efforts and social media efforts 
  2. Become a sponsor of a GIG/GIG Cares event and receive mentions throughout the month of May. Learn more here.
  3. Prepare to share information about the commitment your brand has to the celiac community (we’ll provide resources for you to use in future newsletters).
