Free Webinar: Credit Restoration Tomorrow @ 11am
In partnership with NorCal Small Business Development Center, the Office of Economic Development will host a FREE webinar on credit restoration on October 28 at 11am. We will be joined by NorCal SBDC Regional Lending Manager Chris Horton and Dennis Sanches, Credit Expert with Blue Water Credit, who will share their expertise on rebuilding your credit score which may have been negatively affected during the COVID-19 pandemic. On Wednesday, November 3, the Silicon Valley Economic Development Alliance and Joint Venture Silicon Valley will present a business webinar on Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance. Local businesses and ADA experts will offer their real-world perspectives to help you understand what it means to be ADA compliant. You will also have an opportunity to ask questions of the experts and chat directly with local jurisdictions in our breakout session. You will hear from small business owners, attorneys, and a Certified Access Specialist (CASp) in the field of ADA compliance. Click here to register.
The Milpitas Metro Specific Plan Public Draft is available for public comment!
What is the Milpitas BART and VTA Station Area going to look like? How will this affect me and my family? When are these potential changes going to happen?
 
The Milpitas Metro Specific Plan guides growth, development, and connections in the neighborhoods surrounding the Milpitas Transit Center. This Public Draft is an important opportunity to provide input and we want to hear from you!
 
The Draft Plan and a brief survey will be available through November 5, 2021 on our website: https://www.milpitasmetro.org/.
