Hello Imagine Etiquette's Family
IEIC's Impact: Meet Michael Grace, Jr.
Michael Grace Jr. learned about Imagine Etiquette during his 7th-grade year at Haskell Stem Academy. He was intrigued by the SEVA program, which offers an after-school enrichment program through Imagine Etiquette and school partnerships.

Michael Jr. was enthusiastic about the SEVA program allotting him the opportunity to experience and explore new things, especially financial literacy. Michael Jr. said, "because Mrs. Fernandez was strict, caring, loving, respectful, and just knew her business, I was able to learn many different aspects of financial literacy such as assets, taxes, income, and credit."
Meet Our Newest Team Member
Daejah Alexander joined our team this summer to serve as an executive assistant. Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Daejah worked with Mrs. Fernandez, IEIC founder, a few years ago when she served as an instructor.

"I fell in love with our impact on the students. I loved seeing the transitions in their behavior, and I love that we gave them valuable information that they could apply to real-life circumstances. I felt like I lacked access to that type of information from a school setting at their age, and I thought it was beautiful we could be that resource."

IEIC's Social Etiquette Programs:
IEIC offers three customized programs to promote "self-esteem, value, and awareness" through what is known today as social-emotional learning. It is core to all of IEIC's programming and is often combined with etiquette and leadership training.

IEIC's students are armed with all the tools necessary for living a life of excellence. IEIC's programs introduce the importance of accountability while emphasizing a positive attitude, respect; appropriate social behavior; integrity and defining character; proper modeling manners; understanding of social skills; an introduction to business etiquette; social media etiquette; and lastly, dining etiquette. Students also learn the significance of high academic achievement and the consequences of academic failure.

We are gearing up for enrollment in our three programs for 2023. Get a head start and sign up on our Interest List for the program that best fits your child's needs. Click below to learn more about each of the programs.
Also coming in 2023:
Saturday Empowerment Class is back. Registration for the one-hour-per-week program will open in February 2023. We want to hear what topics would best fit your child's needs. Topics include confidence building, conflict resolution, proper manners, social media etiquette, financial literacy, and life skills (resume writing and interviewing skills).
Posse Scholarships
Is your child planning to attend college in the very near future? Or at least considering it, but money is a factor? Check out the Posse Scholarship. The Posse Foundation identifies, recruits, and trains individuals with extraordinary leadership potential. Posse Scholars receive full-tuition leadership scholarships from Posse’s partner colleges and universities.
And guess what? IEIC's Etiquette Programs provide its students with the skill sets and confidence necessary to navigate through rigorous interviews successfully. We help prepare our students for success. Learn more about the scholarship.
Save-the-Date: Giving Tuesday is Nov. 29
Our sister program, Imagine Etiquette Youth Foundation (IEYF), is bringing the core of our IEIC programs to disadvantage and low-income students through our enrichment camps. This summer's inaugural camp was successful, and we are excited about next year's camp. We understand the value of teaching children etiquette and the life skills needed to be well-rounded and successful. However, we know that only some families can afford it. But we need your help to ensure that we can bring programming free of charge to these students. Consider joining us on Giving Tuesday and make a donation.

Monthly Inspiration
November is National Scholarship Month. This month is designated for high schoolers researching and applying for scholarships to attend college. College can be costly regarding tuition, room and board, books, other living expenses, etc.

Now may not be the ideal time with the holidays approaching, but it is a perfect time to get organized during the break. Take some time to research scholarships locally, regionally, and nationally. Also, look for scholarships around your potential career. IEIC believes in providing for its students and has helped prepare them to earn top scholarships like the Posse Scholarship.
