Project Spotlight:
Pion Grill
Boca Raton, Florida

If you work, live, or spend time around the Boca Raton area, there is a good chance you have enjoyed the food, drinks and ambiance of the Pion Grill located in Town Center. The Pion Grill offers Contemporary American Cuisine served in an architecturally sophisticated and relaxed environment that is perfect for lunch, dinner or a much needed cocktail hour.  ID & Design International of Fort Lauderdale, Florida captured the owners vision to perfectly blend the remarkable cuisine with the warmth and charm of southwest decor to include illustrious lighting features.

Illumination Design Consultants LLC., partnered with ID & Design International to assist with the lighting design and specifications at this outstanding restaurant. The project included hidden light sources such as tightly defined small apertures, recessed LED strips and narrow cross-section LED lights that were placed within the architectural beams to create light without exposing the main source. The idea was to illuminate the dining area while focusing on what matters most, which is the dining experience.

The inviting bar area hosts vivid LED backlighting that allows the natural colors of the liquor selections to blend, creating a sea of color for patrons to enjoy while making their selections. Another dynamic lighting feature at The Pion Grill is the towering wine case that also exudes tremendous LED backlighting that showcases the ample wine selection offered with style.
