Connecting the Cash: Cook County State's Attorney's Race
Of the four candidates for Cook County State's Attorney (yeah, there's one Republican - who knew?), current SA
Anita Alvarez still leads in campaign contributions with a total of
$720,073* cash on hand.
Kim Foxx is giving Alvarez a run for her money, though, with a total of
$388,429 in her campaign coffers.
Donna More trails not too far behind with a total of
$221,855*, though it should be noted that her campaign currently owes More $250,000 for a loan made in December of 2015. The Republican challenger,
Christopher Pfannkuche, currently has
$7,509* in the bank, with a debt of $25,000 from personal loans to the campaign.
Since June 3rd, when
Foxx originally formed her PAC, she has raised a total of
$538,556. In that same time,
Alvarez has raised
$734,860, and
More has raised
$584,083.
